Both TSC2+/−Eμ-Myc and p53−/− Eμ-Myc lymphomas underwent a slight S-phase arrest upon loss of DHX9, with a small (3.5–4.6%) increase in the percentage of S-phase cells and a concomitant decrease in G2/M-phase cells (Figure 2D); however, cell death appeared to be the primary mechanism by which DHX9 suppression reduced the proliferative fitness of the lymphomas. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and lymphoma.
