Additionally, a pro-apoptosis molecule, BLCAP, which was down-regulated in our results, has been reported to trigger apoptosis by inactivating anti-apoptosis Bcl-2 protein in human Ewing's sarcoma cells, and its overexpression could exhibit the inhibition of cell growth by inducing apoptosis and S-phase arrest in human cancer cells (Yao et al., 2007; Fan et al., 2011).
