To further investigate the clinical significance of RMP in EMT of HCC, we examined the expression of RMP and EMT factors in 40 HCC patients by immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis, The results showed that increased expression of RMP was always correlated with the decrease of E-cadherin (Figure 7A), reverse correlation were observed between RMP and the epithelial marker E-cadherin (Figure 7B). This evidence concerns the gene URI1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
