CDK2 and lung adenocarcinoma: Our data showed that enforced expression of miR-363-3p reduced protein expression of cyclin D1 and increases the protein expression of cdk2, which explains why cells accumulated in the S phase, rather than the G1/S transition, when miR-363-3p is overexpressioned These data indicated that miR-363-3p disturbs the mitotic machinery by interfereing at several checkpoint molecules, which result in a growth blockade on lung adenocarcinoma cells.
