Notably, overexpression of miR-106b-5p in A498 and HK-2 cells leads to upregulation of ccRCC stemness associated markers like Sox2, Oct4, ABCC2, CXCR4 and CD105, and the results were opposite in miR-106b-5p-silenced cells (Figure 2C).
