We found that the ANXA13-enhanced increase in the number of cells in the lower chamber (column 2 vs. 1: 85 ± 14.14 vs. 48 ± 9.90, P<0.05) was inhibited by LY29004 treatment (column 4 vs. 1: 42 ± 4.24 vs. 48 ± 9.90, P<0.55), suggesting that AKT activity plays a critical role in ANXA13-mediated tumor cell invasion.
