KPNA2 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Indeed, network analysis for KPNA2-regulated gene sets clarified the signals underlying different aspects of cellular processes, such as cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase or cellular apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma cells with KPNA2 knockdown, and this suggested that KPNA2 is a multifunctional factor involved in diverse aspects of tumorigenesis and tumor progression.
