STAT6 was found to be a novel target of PVT1-derived miR-1207-5p, and miR-1207-5p promoted breast cancer cell growth by targeting STAT6, which in turn control CDKN1A and CDKN1B [37], confirming the tumor suppressing role of STAT6 in breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN1B and neoplasm.
