In our previous study, we demonstrated that MDR1 was regulated by the mTOR signaling pathway, and inhibition of the mTOR signaling pathway potently sensitized gallbladder cancer cells to 5-FU in vitro by suppressing the expression of 5-FU-induced MDR1 [10]; thus, we considered whether MDR1 was also involved in miR-199a-3p-mediated cisplatin-high-sensitivity in cholangiocarcinoma cells. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and gallbladder cancer.
