Many genes encoding collagen, Timps and other proteins known to be involved in connective tissue diseases such as EDS and Marfan syndrome, including Adamts2, Fbn1 and Fbn2, had more than a 4-fold decreased expression in Zeb2-cKO fibroblasts compared with wild-type fibroblasts. The gene discussed is ZEB2; the disease is Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
