Taken together, this data suggests that KISS1, KISS1R and AXL are upregulated in invasive breast cancer cells (Hs578T, MDA-MB-231, SKBR3FLAG-KISS1R), compared to non or weakly invasive breast cancer cells (SKBR3, MCF7 and T47D) (Fig. 6B; Supplementary Figs 4B and 5). The gene discussed is KISS1R; the disease is breast carcinoma.
