The reduction of the metastatic potential of lung cancer cells was associated with lowered expression of myosin light chain kinase (MLCK) and osteopontin (OPN) and the phosphorylation of myosin light chain (MLC) along with the upregulation of expression of occludin, which is involved the c-jun-N-terminal kinesis (JNK) pathway. Here, OCLN is linked to lung carcinoma.
