Plasma levels of IL-10 (152 ± 163 vs. 62 ± 103 pg/mL, P<0.01) and TNF-α (55 ± 58 vs. 15 ± 15 pg/mL, P<0.01) were higher in the AKI group than in the non-AKI group, but there was no difference in IFN-γ levels between the two groups. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and acute kidney injury.
