ZEB1 was found to be significantly associated with poor OS for patients with pancreatic cancer (pooled HR: 1.487, 95% CI: 1.071-2.064, p=0.018), gastric cancer (pooled HR: 1.990, 95% CI: 1.540-2.573, p<0.001) and colorectal cancer (pooled HR: 1.961, 95% CI: 1.468-2.619, p<0.001), while ZEB2 was found to be significantly associated with poor OS for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (pooled HR: 1.315, 95% CI: 1.033-1.674, p=0.026) and gastric cancer (pooled HR: 2.063, 95% CI: 1.582-2.691, p<0.001). The gene discussed is ZEB2; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
