The stabilization and nuclear translocation of TIAM1 following APC depletion was also confirmed by immunofluorescence microscopy (Figure S5C) and is consistent with the nuclear accumulation of TIAM1 we observe in colorectal tumors (Figure 1A) and CRC cell lines with defective APC (Figure 2A). The gene discussed is TIAM1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
