S100A8 and intestinal neoplasm: Among non–cardia GC patients, H. pylori infection with CagA+ strains was significantly more frequent in both diffuse and intestinal tumor subtypes compared with controls (OR: 3.02; 95% CI: 2.08–4.37; P < 0.0001 vs. HC; and OR: 2.25; 95% CI: 1.65–3.07; P < 0.0001 vs. HC, respectively).
