Among the altered lncRNA profiles, 7 lncRNAs involved TUG1, 91H, HULC, BANCR, FGFR3-AS1, HOTTIP and OMRUL [14, 16–19, 21–23], were notably increased in patients with osteosarcoma and strongly correlated to worse clinical outcomes, indicating that such lncRNAs may play oncogenic roles in maintaining tumor progression. This evidence concerns the gene TUG1 and osteosarcoma.
