HAUS3 and gastric cancer: In addition, one study from Xie et al., 2015 [18] also showed a decrease of SPRY4-IT1 in gastric cancer, which was not consistent with the study from Peng et al., 2015 [24], and after carefully reviewing the data from Xie et al., 2015 [18], we found that the description of results was not consistent with the figures (in Figure 1A from Xie et al., SPRY4-IT1 was up-regulated in gastric cancer tissue, while in the results section, the SPRY4-IT1 was described to be down-regulated in gastric cancer tissue), and this study was not included in the current meta-analysis.
