It is noteworthy that other Burkitt’s lymphoma cell lines, such as Raji and Ramos, also express KV1.5 channels (Vallejo-Gracia et al., 2013) and that KV1.3 and KV1.5 can form heterotetramers with particular current characteristics, as it have been described in macrophages (Vicente et al., 2003; Vicente et al., 2006; Villalonga et al., 2010; Moreno et al., 2013). The gene discussed is KCNA3; the disease is Burkitt lymphoma.
