MRO had a 10-fold increased expression in lean-PCOS as compared to controls, together with proteoglycan 1 secretory granule (PRG1); ryanodine receptor 3 (RYR3); lectin galactoside-galectin 12 (LGALS12); Hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 1 (HAPLN1); chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 20 (CCL20); solute carrier family 7 member 2 (SLC7A2); and wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 5A (WNT5A). This evidence concerns the gene RYR3 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
