Unlike previous reports, we used lentiviral infections, rather than transfections, to overexpress NUSAP1. This approach resulted in a relatively lower level of NUSAP1 expression, demonstrated by RT-qPCR, western blot, and RNA-Seq, such that the levels of overexpression were in the same range as has been observed in human prostate cancers and other malignancies. The gene discussed is NUSAP1; the disease is Familial prostate cancer.
