From the results of GSEA (Gene Set Enrichment Analysis) in a published GC cohort NCBI/GEO/GSE62254 (n = 300) [30], IGF2BP3 upregulation was found to have a positive correlation with expression of a common cancer gene set which was defined by a group of Singaporean researchers (P < 0.001) [31]. This evidence concerns the gene IGF2BP3 and gastric cancer.
