Our results demonstrated that corylin inhibited the expression of LPS-induced iNOS and COX-2, decreased the production of LPS-induced TNF-α, IL-6, HMGB1, NO and PGE2, suppressed the phosphorylation of MAPKs, decreased the activation of NF-κB, protected LPS-induced tissue damage, and increased the survival rate from LPS-induced septic shock. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is septic shock.
