In summary, the results of the present study demonstrate that miR-214 plays a critical role in the acquired resistance to erotinib in both NSCLC cells and NSCLC patients harboring EGFR mutation, and knock-down of miR-214 may reverse erlotinib resistance in NSCLC through mediating its direct target gene LHX6 expression. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
