Although treatment protocols that reduce MYL9 phosphorylation are beneficial for reducing the progression of invasion in hepatoma and ovarian cancer [26, 27], dephosphorylation of myosin regulatory light chain (MYL9) by Y27632 induced an invasive phenotype in low invasive lung adenocarcinoma cell lines [28]. The gene discussed is MYL9; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
