To further explore the roles of TIPE3 in breast cancer, we next examined TIPE3 expression in several breast cancer cell lines by Western blot and quantitative RT-PCR, and found that the levels of TIPE3 expression were higher in high-invasive cancer cells such as MDA-MB-231 and BT549 than those in low-invasive cancer cells such as MCF-7 and MDA-MB-468 (Figure 2A and 2B). The gene discussed is TIPE3; the disease is breast carcinoma.
