In mice depleted of both neutrophils and monocytes with the anti-Gr-1 antibody, we observed a significant and sustained decrease in IFNγ levels in the BALF at 24 and 72 hours post-infection (Fig 7E), in agreement with previous studies also using anti-Gr-1 antibody-mediated depletion [22,46].
