A comparison of the AD and AdjNL tissues was shown in Figure 1A, demonstrating that the six loci (HOXA11, CDKN2A EX2, EYA4, HOXA1, CDX2 and TWEFF2) showed highly significant hypermethylation in lung AD (p < 0.01), particularly in the following loci: HOXA11 (p = 6.86E-05), CDKN2A EX2 (p = 1.85E-04), and EYA4 (p = 8.41E-04).
