These findings endorse earlier reports of sFRP4 having anti-angiogenic properties (Muley et al., 2010) and sFRP4 being able to effectively stall angiogenesis in combination with chemotherapeutics in glioma (Bhuvanalakshmi et al., 2015) and head and neck cancers (Warrier et al., 2014).
