According to the grading system, 16.7% mice with Ang II infusion alone were Type I AAAs and 66.7% of Ang II infused mice were Type III AAAs; 40% mice with Ang II infusion plus atorvastatin (20mg/kg/d) presented Type III aneurysms while 14.3% mice with Ang II infusion plus atorvastatin (30mg/kg/d) presented Type II aneurysms (S1 Table).
