Compared with the control group, the OSAHS group had significantly higher serum IL-4 level ((2.45 ± 0.21) pg/ml vs. (1.21 ± 0.22) pg/ml) (P<0.05), IL-6 level ((3.75 ± 0.19) pg/ml vs. (2.54 ± 0.17) pg/ml) (P<0.05), IL-10 level ((3.45 ± 0.19) pg/ml vs. (3.01 ± 0.17) pg/ml) (P<0.05) and IFN-γ level ((4.41 ± 0.19) pg/ml vs. (2.61 ± 0.19) pg/ml) (P<0.05). This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
