TUSC2 and polyarteritis nodosa: Biopsy carried out on the mice which tissues were suitable for histopathological examination showed no obvious overt signs of disease that could be interpreted as life-threatening except for two Fus1 KO mice (12 and 14 months old) that developed acute autoimmune syndrome including polyarteritis, acute renal tubular necrosis and acute glomerular thrombosis that could be the cause of death.
