Specifically, variations in the tumor tissues involved a significant downregulation of CXCL2 that can selectively attract CD56dim NK cells and, vice versa, an upregulation of chemokines specific for CCR7 and CXCR3 receptors (i.e., CCL19, CXCL9, and CXCL10), which are, on the contrary, preferentially expressed by CD56bright NK cells. This evidence concerns the gene CCL19 and neoplasm.
