ANOVA (one-way) followed by post hoc LSD multiple comparison test showed that compared with healthy controls, the relative expression levels of the three genes in both SSD and MDD were increased, furthermore, there were significant differences for CD84 and CTNS and STRN relative expression levels between SSD and control (SSD vs. controls p = 0.001; SSD vs. controls p = 0.002; SSD vs. controls p = 0.000 respectively). This evidence concerns the gene CD84 and major depressive disorder.
