IFNG and cancer: Much attention has been paid to the development of helper peptides [22, 23], since helper peptide vaccination induces and activates cancer-specific Th1 cells, which are the control tower for cancer immunity, and increases the antitumor effect by inducing the antibodies that stimulate proliferation and activation of CTLs, activation of APCs, and incorporation of cancer cells through IL-2 and IFN-γ production.
