When investigating the correlation between PPARG1 and ZIP14 expression separately for PCOS and non-PCOS women, as PPARG1 was shown to be statistically independently affected by PCOS status, similar correlations were found (PCOS: r = 0.49, p = 0.0022; non-PCOS: r = 0.48, p = 0.0210). This evidence concerns the gene PPARG and polycystic ovary syndrome.
