The results show that primary cells from a HER2– breast cancer patient (R39) displayed an amplified CELx HSF signal due to HER2 participation that was in the range of the HER2+ reference cell line SKBr3, whereas primary cells from another patient with HER2– breast cancer (R49) and a healthy subject (R62) had CELx HSF signals similar to the HER2- reference cell line MDA-MB231. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
