Oleanolic acid dose-dependently suppressed tumor promotion and caused cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase in prostate cancer cells [60], at G0/G1 phase in gallbladder cancer cells [64], at S phase and/or G2/M phase in pancreatic cancer cells [62], at subG1 phase in hepatocellular carcinoma cells [71], and at G2/M phase via inhibition of cyclin B1/cdc2 mediated by p21 in hepatocellular carcinoma cells [51,52].
