Consistent with the reported role of ATPIF1 in HCC metabolism in vitro14, further GSEA analysis of GSE20238 pointed to a positive correlation between high IF1 expression and high glycolytic metabolism in human HCC (p value of 0.02 and normalized enrichment score = 1.61; Fig. 1B and Supplementary Fig. S1).
