Overexpression of FABP7 inhibited the proliferation of TUHR14TKB cells (Fig. 4a and b), which is consistent with findings that FABP7 (referred to formerly in the studies cited here as the protein encoded by mammary-derived growth inhibitor-related gene) inhibits the proliferation of breast cancer cell lines [15, 16]. This evidence concerns the gene FABP7 and breast carcinoma.
