Overexpression of FABP7 inhibited the proliferation of TUHR14TKB cells (Fig. 4a and b), which is consistent with findings that FABP7 (referred to formerly in the studies cited here as the protein encoded by mammary-derived growth inhibitor-related gene) inhibits the proliferation of breast cancer cell lines [15, 16]. The gene discussed is FABP7; the disease is breast cancer.
