The percentages of CD69+ cells among MAIT cells tended to be higher in patients with SLE with inactive disease (median 26.70% [IQR 16.80–38.30]) than in healthy subjects (median 11.70% [IQR 7.22–20.80]), although there was no statistical difference between the two groups (Fig. 3a). This evidence concerns the gene CD69 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
