Forkhead box C1 (FOXC1) is a member of the forkhead box family and regulates the behavior of gastric cancer,14 breast cancer15 and tongue cancer.16 In the central nervous system, FOXC1 mutations lead to small-vessel disease in the mouse brain.17 FOXC1 deficiency causes the abnormal vascular formation of the mouse telencephalon.18 However, whether FOXC1 is involved in regulating of BTB permeability and angiogenesis remains unknown. This evidence concerns the gene FOXC1 and gastric cancer.
