MYC and neuroblastoma: While THZ1 selectivity for Myc is unclear and it is possible that its therapeutic impact is due to other targets as well, it is effective at treating lung cancer (Christensen et al., 2014) and triple-negative breast cancer cell lines (Wang et al., 2015c) as well as N-Myc driven neuroblastoma in mice (Chipumuro et al., 2014).
