FASLG and Venous thrombosis: Autoantibodies directed against phospholipid-binding plasma proteins (also known as antiphospholipid (aPL) antibodies), detected through coagulation assays such as the lupus anticoagulant (LA) and through immunoassays such as anticardiolipin (aCL) or anti-β2-glycoprotein I (aβ2-GPI), confer an increased risk of arterial and venous thrombosis [1].
