c-Myc was identified to be an important direct target of Notch1 in T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL), in which c-Myc inhibitors prevented Notch1 from rescuing T-ALL cells treated with γ-secretase inhibitor (GSI), and c-Myc overexpression rescued T-ALL cell lines from GSI-induced growth arrest [35,36,37]. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
