In our study, using flow cytometry analysis of the cellular suspension obtained from the lung tumor samples, we observed that increase in the level of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes correlates with the increase in the proportion of Tregs (p = 0.012, R = 0.443) and CD8+CD39+ immunosuppressive cells (p = 0.015, R = 0.489) in this infiltrate. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is neoplasm.
