Since the NFκB pathway plays an important role for migration and invasion of tumor cells, we further investigated the activation of NFκB. Immunocytochemistry in cells treated with 5 μM JS-K for 48 h showed no translocation of NFκB (p65) into the nucleus caused by NO in either cell line, control or overexpressing ATF3 (Figure 6a). The gene discussed is ATF3; the disease is neoplasm.
