When these sub-cohorts are further sub-divided by their expressivity of SRF in bone metastases (high SRF expressivity vs low SRF expressivity), as described above low SRF correlates with longer survival times from diagnosis, castration resistance and bone metastasis in the context of docetaxel resistance; however in the context of docetaxel naïve patients, SRF level does not correlate with survival times from these three clinically relevant time points (p values = 0.29, 0.30 and 0.38 respectively).
