Mir et al. [32], examined the specific SNP (+1538 A/G) of HSP-70 in patients from the similar population who were admitted for care of diabetic foot ulcers and reported that AG genotype of HSP70-2 (OR 2.02; 95% CI: 1.02–4.01) was significantly associated with the severity of foot ulceration. This evidence concerns the gene HSPA1B and diabetic foot.
