Our results reveal only minor differences between the three animal models tested, suggesting that epilepsy leads to microvessel vasospasms in awake and anesthetized Kv1.1 mice, as well as in awake KA mice (Fig. 1B,C,E,F), and that capillary vasospasms are a general result of epileptic seizures.
